Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree of the family Moringaceae, native to the Indian subcontinent. Common names include moringa, drumstick tree, horseradish tree, and ben oil tree or benzolive tree.
Moringa oil is known for its ability to deliver moisture directly to the scalp, which helps to prevent dryness and extremely nourish hair from the source. Rather than just simply adding moisture to the exterior of dry damaged hair strands, moringa oil hydrates the scalp to heal the hair from the inside out.
Moringa can be used to thicken the hair, promote longer and healthier hair because it contains amino acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals such as zinc, phosphorus, magnesium and iron which helps to protect the hair strands from breakage and promote hair growth. It is known as the remedy for hair loss because of its nutritious value. Hair loss is sometimes derived from vitamin deficiencies and hormonal imbalance.
